Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Udinese midfielder Piotr Zielinski over the last month and the move is finally nearing its conclusion.

The highly talented central midfielder was on loan at Empoli last season and has attracted a lot of interest with his stellar performances in the Serie A.

The creative midfielder has contributed to 11 goals and assists in the Italian league this season and Liverpool could certainly use a player like that. With Jordan Henderson’s current injury problems, Liverpool have missed creativity at the heart of the midfield.

Jurgen Klopp was impressed with the player’s performances in Serie A last season and got in touch with him in January. The German manager rates Zielinski very highly and shared his plans for the player to persuade him to join Liverpool.

Despite interest from Napoli, the Polish midfielder has now decided to join Liverpool and will undergo a medical once the Euros are over.

Apparently the Merseyside giants will pay around 10 million pounds for the Polish midfielder. The report also adds that the Reds have offered him a four year contract.
