It’s been an uncertain few months for French full-back Bacary Sagna, with his Arsenal future very much up in the air. His contract is set to expire this summer, and there is no word yet on a contract renewal, with Manchester City said to be watching proceeding closely.

But following the Gunners’ last home match of the season on Sunday, fans could see that there has been very little love lost between the defender and his boss Arsene Wenger, with Sagna’s little boy giving the Arsenal boss a sweet high-five!

The little scamp, who was sporting an adorable ‘Daddy 3’ Arsenal kit, saw no reason to throw Wenger five, with all transfer tension temporarily shattered on that sunny afternoon in North London.

The right-back’s family was out in force on the weekend, with wife Ludivine Sagna extremely camera happy for the lap of honour, taking many snaps of her with her fellow Arsenal WAGS throughout.

What do you think, Arsenal fans? Will Sagna sign a new deal? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below…

  1. I think he will extend his contract because he his our No.1 right back and he his not guarenteed that position elsewhere.

  2. Well, leaders come and go but the fans will always be there. If Sagna decides to leave, I’m pretty sure Wenger will definately find a replacement. I want him to sign but if he doesn’t, there will be no love lost! He has been a very loyal footballer for AFC.

  3. I will be very if sagna can extend his contract because we need him for our good outing next season & he his versatile player in our defence.pls sagna staaaaaaaaaY

  4. He may leave coz he is not de first one we have lost many and we still survive

  5. I think sagna has done enough,he can if the offer been given is not enough. atleast we can offer coleman as little as £75-80k a week. and coleman is still you and even versitile, even can give the team the kind of pace we lack if walcot is abscent. i think coleman will cost £25m. arsenal should go for him if sagna did not sign. thanks
