Arsenal’s dramatic 3-2 win over FA Cup final win over Hull City secured a first piece of silverware for Arsene Wenger for almost a decade. But the Frenchman looks certain to bid farewell to one of his best ever right-backs, with Bacary Sagna set to leave the club in the summer.
The final this afternoon looks like being Sagna’s last ever game for Arsenal, with a move to Manchester City looking likely to go through this summer. But there seems to be no hostility between the pair, and this was firmly shown at the full-time whistle at Wembley.
Wenger took time to go over to his compatriot, who was crouched in celebration on the famous pitch, and plant a kiss on Sagna’s forehead.
