Petr Cech is all set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, following confirmation from his agent that the Czech keeper has been granted the permission to speak to interested clubs.

Following the arrival of Thibaut Courtois, Cech has been starved of game time at the Bridge, and is thought to be keen on playing regularly again.

The Chelsea keeper was linked with a move to Arsenal earlier this month. However, Arsene Wenger confirmed that Arsenal have three top quality keepers and will not invest in another.

According the recent reports in English media, PSG are keen on landing the world class goalkeeper and have already been in touch with his representatives.

His agent, Viktor Kolar confirmed that the towering Czech international will now start negotiating for his future as he wants to play at a high level regularly.

“Petr [Cech] has a valid contract with his current club, however, I can confirm that we have been permitted by Chelsea to negotiate with interested parties,” Kolar told TalkSport.

“Petr has confirmed his interest to play regularly at a top club.”

“That’s the task that we are now working on, but other than that there has not been any other change in the terms of Petr Cech’s employment and the transfer period only begins on July 1.”

Kolar also confirmed earlier that Cech has held talks with Besiktas and wouldn’t rule out a move to Turkey.

Considering his quality, Petr Cech would walk into most top sides in the world. The Czech international has enjoyed a fantastic spell at Stamford Bridge, winning 15 trophies in 10 years.

Cech also lifted the Champions League with the Blues and will bring down the curtains on an outstanding career at Chelsea, with a Premier League medal this season.

Despite Mourinho admitting his desire to hold on to the Chelsea hero for another season, it is understood that the player is frustrated without first team football and is desperate to play week in week out.

Fortunately, Chelsea are blessed with two world class keepers and will not have any problem replacing the departing Cech. The likes of Begovic could easily fill the void of a reliable backup keeper for the Blues, at a reasonable price.
