Pogba, the former Manchester United midfielder, joined Juventus in 2012 and has already established himself as one of the best young midfielders in the league, if not in the world. Quite naturally, several European giants were reportedly looking to sign him, but as it stands, Pogba has committed his future to Juventus till 2019.

The young 21-year-old has been regularly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge with British and Italian media have wheeled out the story several times during any transfer season.

According to Tuttosport, Pogba will be paid €4.5m per year (after tax) while Juventus will ask around €80m for him, should he leave the club next summer.

The amount may seem huge, but we’ve seen British clubs are dishing out big money to sign top players, and certainly paying £63m for Pogba, who has the potential to become one of the best in the world, won’t represent a bad signing.
