Melbourne Football club in the Australian football league was formed in 1858, get off your high horse poms, only shef FC is older.

Hallam’s site is dead there, the new one is http://www.theoldestfootballgroundintheworld.com. Wanderers FC are just a UNICEF sponsored charity team now. Also, for what it’s worth, the top three, Cray, Hallam and Sheffield, will play each other in Sheffield on July 31 in a round robin tournament.

They are all English, but they also happen to be the oldest ten clubs in the world.

Aren’t these all just English clubs? Just throwing the question out there, Are there not older clubs from other countries? Should it then not state in the title “the oldest clubs in England”
