  1. Well done lars these are about the best legs we have in the country

  2. Nigeria will beat argentina to become first in the group.

  3. D best squad ever, but, who is suswam and brown

  4. I like the squad! i only asking Nigerians to give this a chance and all the support. that they need spiritually phsyically morally and financially, we all shall join together as one, live politice behind and let us sheer our brothers up. I kn Papa God go do it 4 us this year, it is Africa turn thts Nija turn, We are nw in good luck regime.
I wish all Nigerian good luck.

  5. Let us not be afraid of Argentina. Coming 2 EPL no one ever belief that Portsmouth can give Liverpool a 2:0 defeat. Let us give our country a full support God is no our side. I know they will play but we will score

  6. And what is Kanu and Yakubu supposed to do for this team. I really don’t think they are world cup material right now. Glad to see some new names in the squad anyway.

  7. Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Afolabi, john Utaka, Suswam, Anichebe, Haruna Lukman, and Bassey Akpan

  8. A graet job 4 our choach and for all nigeria fans to give nigerian squard a good support and i bealive something good will come to nigeria entirely.

  9. WITHGOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE, SO LETS RELAX OUR MIND AND HOPE ON GOD, NOW I THINK NFF SHOULD LEAVE LAS ALONE AND LET HIM DO HIS JOB.GOD IS ON OUR SIDE NIJA 4 REAL

  10. Uh i like the squard hope wl win ths time around and the coach needs to put them in their positions i follow ths team though i stay in zimbabwe born of a nigerian mother and a zimbabwean farther

  11. aah ive reserved my comment, till after our next friendlies.

  12. foot ball is all about material which physically we are lacking. the prayer will surely help but believe me the likes of Argentina is not a small stuffs. Gud luck Nija

  13. I PITY FOR NIGERIANS.. LOL

  14. I implore all football loving Nigerians not to hold their breaths and only hope to be disappointed but not humiliated. Some of this players didn’t play 10 matches for their clubs last season and on a whole we’re not in shape. However, the silver lining is that LARS would rebuild his team against the next nations cup and then we can judge his capabilities. Dont hope for a win neither a draw–and obviously not a MIRACLE.

  15. I so much believe in our squad except dat d likes of john utaka, yakubu, shitu and yobo shuld be shown d way out! Apam and adeleye shuld hold our 5 & 6 full time! Keita and mikel shuld play defensive role behind let haruna handle d number 10 position bcos of his attack-minded prowes. He has gud and direct shots at goal. Osaze and ikechukwu frm flanks and anichebe wit obasi up front. Perfect formation right?

  16. Good job done by d coach. I bliv in Naija spirit, is tim 2 tell d wod we ar gaint of Africa. We can do it. I mis Anichebe and I.K. Uche.

  17. Kanu/Utaka/Ayegbeni/Rabiu. These guyz av noting to offer. It’s a shame we always pray 4 miracles… Believe me GOD is not a cheat. u can draw ur conclusions.

  18. where is ikechukwu uche

  19. The selection is alright but I don’t think Kanu and Yakubu should fit into that squad because they have not been really good. If possible Jay Jay should join the squad to solidify the midfield

  20. nigerian cauch are very stupit why did they allow kanu and yakubu to play

  21. at first when this man was appointed i thought he was coming with some other better players than those we had but critically analysing his name i understand that the ff board members were in need of someone that can help put nigeria lager back in the football world. Anyway we love our nation and shall continue to do.

… So help us God at the world cup: as it is clear that they have not left the idea of trading a nigerian post for personal enrichment.

  22. I BELIEF IN NIAJA MY COUNTRY SO I FEAR NOT, ANY ONE WHO SAYS ARGENTINA WOULD WIN NIGERAI IS IN SANE BCOS NAIJA HAS THE QUALITY OF WINING ARGENTINA NOW AND EVER. SO JUST BELIEF IN NIGERIA… REMEMBER WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE….KELLY SAY SO, TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT.

  23. am zimbabwean but a supa iglz supporter but am disappointed by the inclusion of yakubu and kanu at the expense of ike uche and anichebe! Wel now that the damage has already been done, lets support the boys . Nigeria 2-2 Argentina: Nigeria 2-1 greece and Nigeria 3-2 Korea! God loves Africa!

  24. i really do not know if yakubu and kanu gave the caush some money, i am very sure that yakubu and kanu gave the caush some money that made the caush to allow them to play, yakubu and kanu are now old they are not fit again

  25. Nigria 2. Agentina 0.

  26. gold bless nija

  27. its a pity nigeria has not invested in young talent to replace the likes of jay jay, amocachi etc. the problem we are now facing is that we do not have a crop of players with the talent, flair and imagination as in the past. no coach can work miracles!!! and any coach will stuggle to select a descent 11 from what is available right now. i do not believe we will do well in the 2010 world cup not because im a pesimist, but because we are just not good enough. the task of our coach is to develop a team that can face the challenges of the future preferably with home grown players and the NFA needs to support him in this role. As for the world cup, i just hope we loose with dignity and are not thorouly disgraced.

  28. Well for me i will not blame no body about nigeria squad its all well people gave bad coment oin Kanu and yakubu, and they dont knw that GOD OF SOCCER CAN USE THEM TO BE THE CHAMPION OF THIS TEAM.this poeple will change there mind if they realy perform gud, finally nigeria team is ok and god of soccer will let them won all there matches

  29. i know this squad will surpass all expectations in this world cup with the right amount of support. So common people do ur duty and give them your support.

  30. I just hope Nigeria will be able to face the list on the table.

  31. Well for me i will not blame no body about nigeria squad its all well people gave bad coment on Kanu and yakubu, and they dont knw that GOD OF SOCCER CAN USE THEM TO BE THE CHAMPION OF THIS TEAM.this poeple will change there mind if they realy perform good, finally nigeria team is ok and God of soccer will let them drow 0-0 with Argentina and for greec 0-1 nigeria and for Nigeria 2-1 Korea! is from ugochukwu from abidjan

  32. Welldone Lars..
u finally achieve your aim of destorying nigerian soccer.. can i say yaKUbu has charm you or what?
its a pity you never prove yourself, and i so much respect you before..
after seen yaKUbu’s performance in the first match(as a striker),i think you dont need me to tell you d changes to make in d other matches…
To the players you are not patrotic (we fans knew that before now..)
To the NFF its time for you to do birthday for your girlfriends…you old fools
