  1. this team suks man, where is mikel, martins, and all those brand name players

  2. Siasia, go ahead and perform at olympics without so called brand players, HIS prescense shall go before you.

  3. Sam sia sia,Plz i alway’s like ur faith in football,
if there’s no mikel we can still make it there,
i know u are going to prove ur self over there.
good luck to mikel over there,
    In his club.

  4. i love this squad, thx to sia sia. this is the kind of coach we need in our senior team with discipline. we are bringing the cup back home.

  5. I belive SiaSia Knows precisely what he is doing, the squad is Okay. he has also brought discipline to the team as sen in the manner he dealth with the Mikel’s issue. Nigerian teams have always lacked discipline, this team will excell.God bless the eagles of Nigeria

  6. samson sia sia, it is OK what ever squad you pick, be confident of it and be faithful your dream will come true,
without the socall big names like mikel & co you will succeed.

  7. I cherish Samson Siasia for putting to live discipline into the Nigerian Football. This is the quality lacking in most of the Nigerian coaches. This is also a man who selects his players without any sentiment.

I’ve a big confidence in Siasia and his team!
I believe in him and wish him best of lucks.

  8. We can do without mikel.carryon with ur vision.God is u,Nigerians are with u

  9. One third of these players is certainly not under 23..As usual in Nigeria.

  10. To the hague. if you have proof that that any players are over 23, present it, otherwise, you need to shut it. Anyway, I think this team can hold its own against any opponent. Something that a lot of people seem to have failed to oberve is that this Nigerian team is almost the same one that got to the finals of the u-20 world cup in holland in 2005. They beat Holland (albeit on penalties) en-route to the finals. I have not seen the holland squad yet, but I guess that they will be mostly those same players.

  11. I’m absolutely happy to see ur under 23 olympic team participating amongst other countries in Beijing. I’ve not been following any of ur teams for quite some time, but if Sia Sia would repeat what he did when he was in charge of ur under 20 team, then we should be expecting a better result in Beijing. It does not really take big names to win a tournament, what it takes is team work and commitment.

  12. i think the squad is capable of repeating what they performed in Holland way back in 2005 but the only problem I see is the midfield, it remains to be seen how creative the middle of the pack is. other aspects especially the defence is very tight. I would have thought the under seventeen guys (RABIU or even AKINSOLA) would have made the squad. I hope we dont just do well and return empty handed. SIASIA BEWARNED.

  13. I luv coach samson siasia.because is have faith dat without mike the teams we bring the gold media back to nigeria again.dis is thd type of coach we need in senior teams.good luck

  14. siasia, i have live in china over 5yrs, tell ur boys not to play with fear,b/c in china any time my small team play with fear we will lost the match.but with this ur squad we will be in bejing for the final in jesus name.thanks
