Newcastle United 2007-2008 Away Kit
Here are the new away strips for Newcastle United for next season. Modeling the strips are Joey Barton, Michael Owen and of course Shay Given.
They are in the light blue colors of Newcastle – and we think the new strip looks classy. The strips are a good contrast to our black and white stripes but look an awful lot like Manchester City’s strip.
Editor’s Note: Newcastle’s 2007/2008 away kit will not only clash with Man City (come on, Barton sporting a Newcastle kit that is in Man City colors? what are the chances of that happening?) but also against Everton and Chelsea (and other blue home kits if I’ve forgotten any).
Given’s threads look good though.

Well I guess they didn’t go for the blue and white striped strips we had suggested a few weeks back – but these look pretty good. Let us know what you think.

i like the design but i think the colours should have been gold/black as how many teams wear gold kits and it would never clash.

Agree it’s too much like Manchester City colors – not sure why we couldn’t go with the light blue and white stripes – like Argentina have.

I think the kit is legendary, along with the home kit and although the keeper tops a bit bright…they are meant to be!!Shay will rock the show in that next season and the Toon will get Champions League place deffo!!:D
