Everybody who thinks refs get it wrong should call for the video ref. (Including Redknapp, and the RightResult team.)

That said, to my understanding the article was based on the decisions of the RightResult team. So everybody who thinks differently should go argue with them, I guess. (Not that I have a problem with anybody posting here, I was just saying it might be more effective.)

yes I completely agree with JimB's comment, how Mokoena was not sent off for that attack on Palacios is beyond me. Palacios was very sporting in not making a big deal of what should have been a red card, unlike David Dunn, who made a massive deal out of nothing. The sending off of Palacios injected a huge sense of belief into Blackburn which wasnt there the previous 80 minutes, Spurs were cruising up until this point.

utter rubbish you could not have been watching the match. Jim B has it right completely. David I hear what you are saying but Sam Allaydce clearly knew the guy should have gone for that attempt to remove Palacious head as he could not sub him quick enough it was David Dunn who went spralling in antcipation of contact that was not coming as the player pulled out of the tackle!!!!!!!!!

You clearly didn't watch the game if you don't believe that Spurs deserved to win.

Sure, the penalty decision was incorrect. But Spurs were already totally dominant by that stage and remained so until after the sending off. And here's two further officiating mistakes in the game that YOU overlooked to mention:

Soon after half time, Darren Bent was clean through on goal but was flagged for offside. TV replays showed that he was clearly ONside. That mistake cancelled out the penalty decision.

Then, on about 70 minutes, Mokoena launched a deliberate, vicious and unprovoked upper arm smash to Palacios' chin. Clear sending off offence, yet he didn't even get a yellow card. Less than ten minutes later, Palacios WAS sent off despite having pulled out of the tackle and not making contact with Dunn.

Quite clearly, then, Spurs were on the wrong end of the majority of the officiating mistakes. Not just for the Blackburn game either. Palacios (a crucial player for Spurs) will now have to miss the West Ham game because yellow cards, ridiculously, cannot be appealed.

So next time, before writing crap articles, at least try to know what you're talking about. There's a good lad.
