Even though Robson only got to 11th in his first season the fans were happy with him because of the type of football he was playing, After the negative period under Dalgliesh and the ego trip under Gullit. If BSA would stop being so negative in his team selection and tactics and start playing players in there correct positions he would not get the stick he gets from the Toon Army

It would be interesting to see how the Present management at St.James Park react to a bad run. Sam and his team had a good start, but now it is starting to fizzle out. Will the present management realise that he needs time and avoid the mistake of the previous one (when they fired Bobby Robson, something Newcastle hasnt fully recovered from)?

Absolutley bang on. Weve won nowt for years because we have no stability. In his first full season, Bobby Robson only managed an 11th place. Sam needs time, and he must get it.
