New sponsor for West Ham?
West Ham’s financial situation seems to be going from bad to worse. It is now almost certain that Gianfranco Zola will have to sell players in January. But they are still not exploiting a revenue stream since sponsors XL went bust so we thought we would set them up with Brighton and Hove Albion’s old sponsors. Skint Records is Norman Cook’s Brighton-based label so from XL to Fatboy Slim seems like a good move!

Rob Parker you are a total cock. You must be a tottenham fan fed up of all the jokes west ham fans are semding you via email, and this is a writers way of having a pop back. West ham are no more skint than the likes of American owned Man utd, our billionaire owner has more knowledge of finance and more credence as a business man than you will ever have as a blog writer.Stop writing crap about our club.
October 8th, 2008 @ 12:48Haha! Thanks for that Englands number 6 (John Terry, is that you?). You missed your apostrophe.
I’ve got more clubs than Teddy Sheringham at the minute! For your information, no I’m not a Spurs fan. Lighten up a bit before you give yourself a coronary.
October 8th, 2008 @ 13:08Here here.
/AGREE.
October 8th, 2008 @ 13:15this season is a real circus, ainnit? newcastle, west ham, tottenham…oh wait, they’re at it every year, my bad
sometimes stability means staying out of the news for the wrong reasons…
October 8th, 2008 @ 13:39The post made me laugh at least! England’s No6… I’m a Hammers fan through and through, and a season ticket holder to boot. Lighten up, or you’ll make all Hammers fans look like uptight plonkers.
October 8th, 2008 @ 14:25Can I had a small bit of record label geekdom here (which is why this piece made me smile), as XL were also originally set up as an offshoot of Beggars Banquet back in the late 80s to put out dance and rave releases and I’m pretty sure one of Norman Cook’s alter egos pre-Fatboy Slim was released on XL recordings before he set up Skint.
I somehow don’t think that’s what Rob was exactly getting at
Um, yes, football. I’d be a bit worried if I was a West Ham fan at the moment, financially. I think they’ll be ok but times may be a bit tighter than the Hammers anticipate.
October 8th, 2008 @ 16:45All good fun chaps, Us West Ham supporters have been taking the michael for a while so its just one back.
October 8th, 2008 @ 20:13Isnt football supposed to be about fun and having a light hearted poke at the rivals? Keep ‘em comming. We can take it!!
i’ve heard that tottenham are replacing ramos with roeder, just to make sure of championship football next year.
October 9th, 2008 @ 02:25hahaha! marleen that joke is pretty good.. lol
What do tottenham and a toothpick have in common?
both got 2 points lol
October 9th, 2008 @ 08:08If we can’t take a joke ourselves then we’ve no right to dish it out to other teams.
This is hardly a massive insult anyway, just a little bit of fun. Anyone who can’t take a little joke like this doesn’t really understand much about football banter!
