David Luiz Mourinho ready to sell David Luiz claims Spanish press

According to Catalan newspaper Sport, Chelsea boss is planning for a major developments at Stamford Bridge in the summer. Big name players are expected to arrive like Diego Costa and Chelsea will be looking to sell some of the players to balance the book, and of them could be David Luiz.

Mourinho doesn’t consider Luiz as an integral part of his plan and would give a green signal for his transfer, if any club meet €36m transfer fee, which Sport believe, Barcelona are happy to pay that amount.

Luiz was left frustrated with the way Chelsea suffered defeat against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semi-final. He reflected on Chelsea’s season recently:

“It could be that we are heading for a shit season. We are a big club and we want to win trophies. The most important thing for me is the personalities.

We need to fight in many situations. But everyone speaks about results and you can say it is a shit season if you don’t have trophies in a season at a big club.”

Luiz recently commented on his own future as well, saying “God knows” about what will happen next season. Barcelona are looking to find a long term replacement for skipper Carles Puyol and targets Luiz to cover that role.

Should Chelsea sell such a dynamic defender to Barcelona?

  1. No, he is very valueble to Chelsea and win not fit in by Barcalona

  2. Not a chance,Mourinho shouldn’t sell Luiz,he is one of the best players chelsea has ever had and I don’t think there’ll be a perfect replacement for him.

  3. Yes I think morihno know what he is doing

  4. Luiz can be sold. He’s a good player on his good days, but his performance is unpredictable. It’s always a risk on the field.

  5. Luiz is a valuable player to us, we don’t need to sell him.

  6. Luiz is not reliable, he has d best long range pass in d team, but lacked discipline, aCcurate shot on target, his tackles ar reckless, not a reliable defensive midfielder like Khedira, Vidal, Pogba, Matuidi, even Tiote or Cabaye. Also not a reliable defender like Cahil, Ramos. Varane. Silva. Company, or even Kalas. He is selable.

  7. As said in OLX, Sell him

  8. Luiz shouldn’t be sold not 4 any reason!

  9. I thnk Luiz deserves to be a regular in a team the guy is technically good he is one of the best in both defence nd midfield so this is really a gud chance for BARCELONA to put some bricks at the back

  10. It’s all a win situation for everyone, David luiz is an incredible player and deserves a regular chance to play unlike this season and IMO no other team will allow him to dictate game from back. Barcelona sees the potential to grow to the stature of puyol in him. Chelsea though will lose a great defender , player but if he is not part of mourinho’s plan means he ll not be seen as a regular starter for chelsea.

  11. {In dis i dnt understand david liuz 4 d fat that he is playing in chelsea but if he misbehife i will tell mouriho should sell him but 4 mikel obi they should leave him in chelsea ok i love him so much}.

  12. David Luiz, welcome to the best club in the world! See you soon.

  13. LEAVE REAL FAST dAVID PLEASE… Chelsea is my team so is Barcelona but i always say Luiz would be great in Barca because he has calmness and a very good passer of the ball from the back.
