Dan, I assume the reference to new stadiums in Salt Lake and Utah should read as "New York and Salt Lake". The Red Bulls' new stadium, Red Bull Park, is under construction in Harrison, New Jersey (close to Newark) and will open in 2009.

Hold on here just one second, if Dan Leo is actually an "MLS expert", then why did he writes something so obviously wrong as:

"And two more private/public stadiums, in Salt Lake and Utah, are underway."

Salt Lake and Utah are the same place!

Back to the drawing board for Dan I guess.

And one other thing, the difference in soccer culture in America from 1996 when MLS started, until today is light years. I cannot imagine that another soccer league in the world has grown this much in just 13 seasons. Please put it into prospective instead of just comparing it to the European leagues of today.

Adios,
Bruce

If anything, they're moving quite rapidly for 13 years.
