I have read many criticisms of Terry's handling of this whole "saga." A lot of derision for going after a bigger paycheck and lots of terms like mercenary being thrown about. People for the most part need to grow up. There are very few of us whose heads wouldn't be turned by being offered more money for the same job. As happy as I am that he is staying, if he had gone I wouldn't think less of him. After all, I love Chelsea but for Terry and others like him, it is a JOB. It would be best if everyone remembered that.

And regardless of whether he stays till the end of his career or not, we should never discount the fact that while he was with Chelsea, he gave 100% every game.

At least he gave a timely answer and the Saga did not last all summer like I thought it would!

John Terry maybe one of the only players, if not THE only one, that gives 100% every single game. I have never seen him give up or relax in any competition. Furthermore, the man has captained Chelsea for as long as possible. He, like Lampard said, is already a legend.
Chelsea didn't care enough to stop the saga because they, and Terry, were 100% certain of his commitment to the club. That's great news from my perspective.
I think he'll remain at the club for as long as possible, that only makes sense!

the whole saga took to long to get sorted , however many chelsea fans didnt really think that Terry was gonna consider leaving , not only has he shown on numerus occasions his love for the club, but why would a player leave a title challenger for an up and coming side considering his age.
