Diego Maradona might marry Veronica Ojeda – Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez
Veronica Ojeda was born on December 9, 1977 or 1980 (different sources report different ages) in Villa Fiorito, Argentina. She used to be a physical education teacher and her current field of work is unknown, except of course being with the one and only Argentinean legend Diego Maradona.
They said to have met in November 2005 at Maradona’s cousin’s wedding. As soon he saw her, he made a move on her and they have been inseparable since.
A week after they met, Diego showed up at her house and Veroncia’s father, Carlos Ojeda answered the door and later introduced him to his wife and Veronica’s mother Rufina. They were spotted taking a vacation in Venezuela, where his good friend and the President of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, said that he thinks that a wedding might be on the way.
Not so long after a few vacations they went on, they were living together in Ezeida, Buenos Aires. It is said that she is loved by her in-laws (Diego’s family) and it is also said that her new step-daughters are not very fond of her.
In the begining of 2010, it was announced that Veronica was four months pregnant and it was going to be a baby girl and she will be born when Argentina would be at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Unfortunately, Veronica suffered a miscarriage and Maradona’s baby girl never made it.
One night in January 2010, she woke up in the middle of the night, fainted and fell. She was taken to Clinica Suizo Argentina in Buenos Aires around 4 AM, where she was treated but sadly she had lost the baby. This was her second miscarriage – her first was about two years ago.
