Manchester United target and Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has been reportedly advised by Chilean legend Ivan Zamorano to make to a switch to Real Madrid.

This comes in the wake of earlier reports that new Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal had poured heaps of praise on the player and is determined to take him at old Trafford in the summer.

Zamorano, the former Real Madrid star revealed that the Los Blancos President Florentino Perez had earlier sought his advice on Vidal.

“When I came back six months Florentino asked me for it and I told him to bring it with eyes closed.’s An extraordinary player and can expect to get very good at Real Madrid.”

“Vidal can play anywhere in the world.’s Triumph in the most demanding football, which is Italian, and can fit perfectly here.”

The €50m rated Juventus midfielder is currently training separately from his national team mates in a race to be fit for the World Cup which starts later this week.   The 27 year old underwent surgery in May in a bid to to recuperate from a long-standing knee problem.

Much has been speculated over Vidal’s future over the past few weeks with his destination unknown post the World Cup. Juventus though would try their best to hold on to their prized asset but it would be hard for the Bianconeri to reject a massive bid from the Champions League winners.

For Manchester United, the latest turn of events might mean that the Red Devils’ chances to bolster their midfield are certainly fading with each passing second.
