Manchester United’s €30m target could set for transfer today

Manchester United and Bayern Munich last week had made contacts with Serie A giant Roma over the possible transfer of defender Mehdi Benatia.

The highly rated Moroccan defender has set his heart out on leaving the club and was not included in Roma’s last friendly match.

The player was accused of being selfish and not showing to the team but probably they have realised it’s high time to cash in on the player.

According to reports from CDS, the transfer of Mehdi Benatia could take place on Monday.

Roma are asking for a fee in the region of €30m plus add-ons. So far they have yet to receive any formals offers from German giants Bayern Munich.

CDS reckon that the next 24 hours is very vital as Roma are expecting a formal offer for the defender.

Once the deal is completed, Roma will try to sign Greek defender Kostas Manolas, who has been a reported target of Premier League giants Arsenal.

It remains to be seen whether Manchester United put up a late and surprise move for Benatia or not. At this moment, all attention has been shifted towards signing Angel di Maria, so if Bayern move quickly, they might seal the deal for Benatia.

  1. What Di Maria can do for United’s offense, Benatia along with Rojo, Evans and others can do for its defense. It would be foolhardy to wait for the Di Maria transfer to be completed before working on other transfers. Surely, we cannot be so naive as to believe United cannot mutli-task???

  2. We shouldn’t just wait for Di Maria’s arrival, we know it’s a done deal already. Why not catch two birds at the same time? It’s possible cos there’s no time now. Woodward do something! And bring in Benatia also, together with Blind and De jong. That will do for now.

  3. Manutd, need a central defender, a right winger and a box 2 box defensive medfelder like de jong, blind.only if united want to comeout of the problem they are facing now. I say thanks for the three signing so far and D maria is yet to joint the team again. Thanks to united manager, board staff executive, fans and players I love them all. And I predit united will win this season tittle..and I can say that again no matter the two games played so far, united will win this league.

  4. It’s already done now, what are we waiting for? All we need now is to go for Benatia, Vidal, Blind and De jong so that united we progress in this season all we need now is to quickly go to the market and offer for these players.

  5. Why its easy for liverpool today want a player tomorrow transfer deal done we suffering in transfers why plus we should went for ukraine left winger for £12million than £64million for di maria I want cuadrado on the right winger before the window close we need him young and valencia can’t do the job sell them

  6. mr lvg pls dont be stupid to wait only on di maria for now, start working on oda transfers, and i can see u were this sturbon type, why did u let ur holland players left without signing at least four or five of then, that would available been economy wise and they would have suit well, thank God for the lost to swansea and draw to sunderland if not i knw u would av stick with this foolish squad, and place make sure by january u release players like michael carik, fletcher, young and cleverly and let it not be a mistake, dont jes attempts to sell chicarito kagawa and rafel and give januzaj blacket kane and jese lingard

  7. United has to move in quickly and Benatia now that Di Maria is already joining the team. Blind, Vidal, Di Jong are also the signatures that Van Gaal should make swift moves to secure!!!
