Manchester United target Breel Embolo drops interesting transfer hint

Manchester United and Liverpool have been linked with the talented young forward from Basel, Breel Embolo.

In an interview about his personal life, Embolo said that he would want the Liverpool anthem ‘You’ll never walk alone’ to be played during his funeral as it is his favourite song.

He said: “I have not thought about it. My favorite song perhaps, ‘You’ll never walk alone’.”

Although this is by no means a confirmation that the player likes Liverpool, or prefers a move to them. But it is an interesting comment and Liverpool fans will be hoping that the player’s choice in music will aid their push for a transfer this summer.

The Switzerland international has attracted a lot of interest with his explosive performances for the Swiss club and has not looked out of place at the international stage during this summer’s Euros as well.

The talented young forward can operate as the central striker as well as a wide forward. Both Liverpool and Manchester United are in need of goals, pace and width in their attack and Embolo seems like a perfect solution.

Both clubs have been heavily linked, but the player comments will fuel rumours of a potential transfer to Liverpool.
