The 25 year old Mexican has fallen down the ranks of attacking options at Old Trafford and might look forward to a fresh challenge. The ‘Little Pea’ as he is fondly known, has featured in 27 appearances this season, making just 7 starts and has scored 4 goals and grabbed 3 assists.

Chicarito however has an impressive consistency scoring 59 goals in 150 appearances for the Red Devils since his move in 2010.

With talismanic striker Christian Benteke out till October with an Achilles injury, its is believed that the Clarets and Blue will finally splash the cash in the coming transfer market with owner Randy Lerner willing to inject fresh funds for the Villa Park faithful.

The Villains are also after Manchester City out of favour defender Joeleon Lescott and Tottenhma’s on loan at Fulham midfielder Lewis Holtby as they aspire to finish in the top half of the table and even fight for a Europa League spot next season.
