Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has been linked with a move to the Premier League all summer.

Before the Spanish international re-signed for Real Madrid, he was thought to be heading to England with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United interested in him.

Despite him joining Los Blancos this summer, he is expected to leave immediately. Real Madrid only signed him so they can sell him for a profit. Furthermore, they cannot offer him regular first team football as well.

A player of Morata’s calibre deserves to play regularly and there are Premier League clubs ready to offer that.

According to latest reports, Manchester United are looking to sign the Spaniard this summer. The report adds that Mourinho has asked Jorge Mendes to inform Real Madrid about United’s transfer desire.

The Red Devils have agreed to shell out a sum of 55 million Euros for Morata, but the La Liga giants are demanding for a fee close to 70 million Euros for him.

Also there is a mention of Chelsea’s interest in the player. Antonio Conte remains an admirer of Morata, but will only move for him if a transfer for Lukaku falls through.

Apparently Morata wants the transfer as well. The Spaniard has informed his teammates that he is not looking forward to spending time on the Real Madrid bench.

Earlier this summer there were reports that Morata wants to play for Mourinho and it will be interesting to see if the clubs can agree on a fee now.

United already have the likes of Martial, Rooney and Ibrahimovic. If they sign Morata, the likes of Rashford might need to be loaned out in order to get some first team football.
