Manchester United plot move for Daley Blind

Share

Time is running out for Ed Woodward and Manchester United.

Manchester United are in dire need of reinforcement. They have been linked with some world class players but with less than 13 days to go before the window closes, it remains to be seen, whether United can actually land those targets.

Blind Netherlands Manchester United plot move for Dutch versatile player

Earlier today we have reported that Manchester United were close to sealing a deal for Sporting left-back Marcos Rojo.

The Argentine was one of the most consistent performers during the World Cup. Although he plays as a left-back, he is equally good in central defence as well.

The Times reckon that Louis van Gaal is keen to land one more versatile defender to his team and is considering making a move for Holland defender Daley Blind.

Blind produced some superb performances for The Oranje during the World Cup (especially his two sublime passes against Spain are worth mentioning) and has worked closely with the United manager.

He has been linked with United earlier in the summer while was a reported target of Barcelona as well.

Blind is a versatile defender, who can also play in the midfield. The 24-year-old Ajax star would represent a good signing for United, but the question remains – can Woodward secure for a deal for him before the transfer deadline day?

  1. Please listen to our plea, bring Vidal, di Maria and cuadrado to make the team much stronger. Don’t just yap about man u being the biggest club in the world without classic signings to much the saying.

  2. Please sack Ed Woodward NOW!He’s been the cause of all our woes on the transfer market. The man is inept!Matt Hummels,Arturo Vidal,Cuadrado,Daley Blind,Marcos Rojo, Mehdi Benatia, name them.David Gill would have nailed down all these transfer targets.

  3. We have one of two problems. Either the Glazers are being dishonest about money being available. OR the funds are there but Woodward has not got the ability to close down deals for world class players. Let’s hope that the cash is there. If so the next couple of weeks are make or break for Woodward. Either he produces the players making us genuine premier contenders or leaves us with a mid table squad. But make no bones about it we need 3 or 4 top players as well as Rojo.

  4. Although Man U is a big club, but that is not the issue we need new signings for improvement, other teams are bringing word class players. Why only scouting for players bring in Di maria, blind, rojo, strootman, benatia pls. Ed Woodward don’t be stinging follow the step of David gill.

  5. LvG is just delaying to buy players, he going to be like David Moyes. I thing it could be better to buy instead mentioning to players without taking action to them.

  6. If man utd is going to get the prestige back they need to appoint new CEO the current guy seemed clueless
