Of all the players that have left Chelsea in recent years, probably no one apart from Kevin de Bruyne have made such a terrific impact elsewhere. The 23-year-old has already 20 assists to his name (Bundesliga and Europa League combined), and is rightly dubbed as the “king of assists” in Bundesliga.

His heroics have taken Wolfsburg into second in the table and although they cannot challenge Bayern Munich directly for the title, but the lure of playing in the Champions League next season is more than a handy incentive.
