The report from La Stampa claims that United made the offer yesterday and are willing to pay Pogba a reported salary of €9m per season. Pogba has a contract with Juventus till 2019 but over the past few days Mina Raiola has states that his client might be willing to leave Italy. Raiola also stated that top sides like Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Paruis St Germain are interested in the French youngster.
Calciomercato had also reported that Real Madrid are willing to offer €100m for the 21 year old who is one of the hottest prospects in World Football currently. It is believed that Zinedine Zidane who is involved in a coaching role with Real has asked the club to do anything possible and plot a move for Pogba. Spanish media outlet AS have also published a story claiming that Pogba is Madrid’s priority signing for the coming summer.
Tuttosport also claims that Juventus cannot offer the huge salary that Pogba’s potential suitors can give to the player. Does this point that Pogba could be enticed to move to a team which offer higher wages?
Manchester City and PSG cannot however sign Pogba at this time thanks to Financial Fair Play regulations. But will Pogba make a move to the club who let him leave on a free? The player had himself explained why he left the Old Trafford side but still loves the club, “I’m impatient. It was the feeling that I had. The coach (Sir Alex Ferguson) had faith in me, but didn’t put me on. He said that I was too young. He said: ‘Your time will come. It didn’t come. But it doesn’t mean I will speak ill of Manchester United. I love the club.”
