Carlos Tevez was one of the watched players in 2006 world cup by the european clubs, cannot be denied looking at his performance and his potential. If Man U can have Tevez, it will be huge attacking force , can be handy if any other striker gets injuries or suspension. the combination of Rooney & Tevez will surely bring speed, goals and mixture of South American and European strikers will certailny be the cavalier force for Man U squad this season.

Bayen should be taken as a living example by many growing clubs in europe and beyond. Growing clubs have always been weakened by big clubs because of money and have suffered the consquences. In fact, they have become accademies of big clubs.
I therefore salut bayen for that big step thogh my big team is affected but shiuld have lessons from this.
long live Rafa and the reds
      you will never walk alone

the question is do we really need tevez as he is not an out to out striker and saha is showing his true qualities recently, and hargreaves would be a great addition and him and carrick will forge one of the best midfields in the premier league

Well, Tevez did not show up for the training session at Corinthians yesterday and has said he'll not return while coach Leao remains at the team. Given that Leao has managed 2 wins in 2 games to help the team get out of last place in the standings, Tevez seems destined to play elsewhere, and United would be as good a place as any (well, for him anyways, not for United fans).

If United indeed lands Tevez, it would be a huge boost to the team's attack. Carlitos was the best player in Brazil last year, and was doing very well for Corinthians prior to the World Cup too. He seems to have been thinking about Europe ever since he went to the World Cup with Argentina, so after the tournament he hasn't quite been the same (but once in England he'd certainly return to his old self).

Cheers,

Carlos
