Manchester United ‘most serious’ to sign €45m Arsenal target

According to reports from French Media outlet Le 10 Sport, Manchester United are serious in their pursuit of Paris St’ Germain striker Edinson Cavani in the coming summer transfer window. cavani has long been linked with a move to the Premier League with Arsenal being one of the potential destinations for the Uruguayan.

The report states that United will not sign Colombian striker Radamel Falcao on a permanent deal and have now planned a move for Cavani in the coming transfer market. The story also reveals that the Red Devils had in fact scouted Cavani last month, during PSG’s 3-1 win over Toulouse. Moreover, United also recognized that the player was up to his best against Chelsea in the Champions League round of 16 first leg in Paris.

it is believed that Cavani wants to leave the Parisian side at the end of the season and United are on the top of the list to sign the player. However, the player who joined PSG in the summer of 2013 from Italian side Napoli for a whopping fee of £55m will not come cheap as his price tag is €45m (reported by Transfermarkt)
