When you think of Man Utd power you have to consider the four engine, Anderson.He is a tough guy, just ask Cesc Fabregas of Arsenal he can tell you. Tough,faster with strong mentality. Only the final finishing touches let him down but he can disappoint the opponents though.

arsenal prioritised before the start – necessary but also not the measure of a truly great side (in the sense that a ‘truly great side’ would be strong enough to fight on all fronts). They also had injuries and never got out of the blocks mentally, which sucks but that’s how it was.

Arsenal lost, United go on to face Portsmouth and the bigger game, for both teams, is tomorrow.

Here’s to hoping that both Milan teams win

It’s not going to matter unless they get beaten like that in the league as well, and / or their injury problems get worse.

I hate to admit it, but days like these really make me get much more respect for Liverpool and their supporters. At least they don’t make excuses and whinge afterwards like Arsene and his following…
If this cup was so un-important, why the fuck were you still in it?
If this cup was so un-important, why did Wenger not rest your star player, Fabregas?
If this cup was so un-important, why did he not rest Adebayor as apposed to bringing him on?
That’s just arrogant bullshit, and you know it.
I think he underestmated United after their draw and un-inspired loss to City.
Again, his arrogance paid the price, just like against Spurs. Of course all the cups are important to Arsenal, they have (lotsa) bills to pay.
I wonder what you guys will say after we’ve overtaken you lot in the league? “Oh, the piss league is not important, we’re going for bigger fish”.

Spurs go into every match to win not to lose eh? If so why do they not win very often? You might of done us in the shit cup but its still well over 8 years since you were able to get the better of us in the league. Spurs are an average cup team at best. 47 years without a league title proves that. You all predicted that you would finish in the Champions league places and easily above Arsenal. That prediction looks pretty ridiculous when you look at the 31 point gap. We were completely outplayed by United last saturday and any genuine football fan would have to say fair play for their performance. Just like your laughable predictions at the start of the season you will also be totally wrong about “The Scum” blowing their lead. Oh one more thing…..Thanks for the 6 points!

Tony, that is so arrogant, just like Arsene. The FA Cup is low priority? That makes no sense, every team wants to win the FA Cup. Maybe there is no sense to win the English Cup when no one on your squad is English! Will the Champions League not matter when you lose….whether to AC Milan, or someone else? I’m glad my Spurs go into every match to win not to lose.

Also, why would you want Man U confident? They were on following a draw to Spurs, and a home loss to Man City. Arsene should have wanted to bury their confidence, not ignite it. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Scum blow the rest of their league lead, then what would your excuse be?

Manure sounds like the spuds when they beat our reserve team in a low priority competition. 5 points clear is what matters.

It is perfectly set up for the league game at Old Trafford. Probably part of Wengers plan. Make Manure even more arrogant before that match and we will win the Premiership there again.
