Manchester City’s David Villa Hopes Go Down The Drain

Poor old Manchester City have had humble pie thrown in their filthy rich faces once again! Spanish club Valencia have declared that they shall not be selling David Villa (and David Silva) in January.

There has been much speculation on the future of Valencia’s prized assets, namely Villa and Silva, as Los Che are reportedly steeped in debt. There has been press reports in Spain suggesting that Valencia needed to sell some top draw players to set right their books.

But Valencia vice-president Fernando Gomez has announced that in no way are they going to sell either Silva or Villa. He maintained:

“Villa and Silva will not be leaving Valencia in January. But there’s a chance that [Nikola] Zigic and [Hugo] Viana will be going because they are two players who need to play regular football.”

Manchester City, you can relinquish your hopes of signing Spain’s best striker, namely David Villa!

Maybe, the Eastlands sheikhs can go and make a bid for Zigic and Viana! After all, understandably Zigic and Viana are more suited to Man City than the world class David Villa!

MCity don’t need superplayers: Huhges anyway will keep them on the bench (f. i. brazilians Elano, Jo…) Get rid ASAP of Huhges-he is not able to take an advantage of extra players.
