Richard Wright wasn't too hot in Arsenal colours... and I don't say that as a jealous Spurs fan. Arsene, or his team of scouts, or both, is or are clearly the top judges of talent in world football. But everyone is capable of a blunder or few.

Sagna is awesome! That's the second time i've seen him give an assist like that at full sprint & full stretch beating the defender right from the touchline! Can you remember the other instance he did that Arsenal fans? :D

Let me just say that if we're grading the success of Wenger's transfer policy this past summer, so far he's scored 2 out of 3 with Sagna & Eduardo. This guy is a SCARY judge of talent. I'm gonna relish it when Fabianski comes into his own. Watching his performances for his old club i'm sure Wenger will help him find his form for Arsenal soon enough. Have we EVER had anything less than a good goalkeeper during his tenure? (rhetorical question)

Adebayor is in great form(though I still doubt him). Thank god Togo failed to qualify for ANC. Eduardo was marginally offside before he scored but it was a class finish nonetheless. A hard fought but deseved win. As for Man City, Gelson Fernandes is one name we may be hearing a lot about in the next few seasons. He plays tough, has a good shot and runs all around, but he badly needs someone playing alongside him. Elano was too much forward most of the time. But the victory is sweet............
