Graham,

Thanks for the comment. It's so much easier to discuss when people refrain from foul and abusive language!

Anyhow, I digress...and I am pretty much in agreement with that. Now Rolando Bianchi is in Rome to discuss a move to Lazio and Podolski appears to be staying at Bayern.

Anthony,

I think you've summed up the position for City pretty well. They made a wonderful start, but there is a danger that the momentum has been lost. Sven has managed to produce a team that is unrecognisable from the one of the last few seasons, but the lack of an out and out goalscorer could cost the team dear.

It seems to me, and I'm only going by what I've seen on TV, that if teams can keep Elano and Petrov quiet, then there aren't too many other options. Early in the season they were a surprise element, but now opponents are ready for them.

That's fair enough Loon, everybody is entitled to an opinion. Nobody has forgotten the way things were last year, but you remind me of these ones who say nothing should ever be changed. If you can't see that Everton and Villa have the momentum at the minute then you are naive, in my opinion.

You should read more analytically - are you saying I wrote the article with NO positives???? I went to Maine Road and CoMS enough times to know what poor football was at times and I would never simply look at the negatives. You don't think we need more men up front?

You must be content to finish in the top ten just, which is fine (it was a 3-year-plan, after all), but there is no harm in trying to better what we have already achieved this season and to do that we need reinforcements.

Loon,

I wouldn't have written if I wasn't thick skinned. You always get certain comments, for instance, on the MEN site after certain matches and there are always City fans who are not satisfied, some who are overjoyed to be where they are and that is what contributes to the rich tapestry of debate.

I see you wrote 'shut up and enjoy the ride' and 'you're moaning'. You really ought to read the full article fully and be sure of what you are saying because I was keen to emphasise that 'I AM IMMENSELY PROUD OF WHERE WE ARE IN THE TABLE FOR ONCE'.

This article was supposed to be a look at Sven's psychology, how he has transformed City and where we could do better because at present Everton and Villa have the momentum to get away from us, or would you be happy with that?
