Poor research, especially considering that Keane is your intro to a tired old subject. Keane walked of his own accord (he has a history of doing this). The club had just offered him a 2 year contract extension - hardly pushing him out then. And all this despite the fact that Keane hated the chairman and refused to talk to the directors other than by text message. You couldn't be more wrong on this one!

It is OK if he leave Sunderland. Roy Keane can be a great manager. I think he will come back very soon!!

"the absolute earliest that Keane should have either been pushed or allowed to leave should be if and when Sunderland are mathematically relegated."

Keane was neither pushed nor could Sunderland persuade him to stay. That old irrational demon in Keane has surfaced again: World Cup 2002 and the manner in which he finished at Utd. There's a real dark side to Keane that does him no favours. Regardless of the Sunderland situation, if he has long-term ambitions in management I think he has just done his prospects a lot of damage.

As for Ince! This is the guy who made big noises about the lack of opportunity for young managers AND the low numbers of black coaches/managers in the game. Not that he was promoting the cause in a general sense but (as always with Ince) was only interested in promoting himself. I'd go as far as to say that Ince played the 'race' card to get himself an opportunity and that's unacceptable. He's always been to big for his boots and now that he has been given the chance, we are seeing that he is not up to the task and, considering his personality, are any of us surprised? Big mistake by the Blackburn board!
