Talking Points:

The goals to games ratio of Ruud van Nistelrooy is absolutely phenomenal (150 goals from 219 appearances). A close second is Dennis Viollet with 179 goals from 293 appearances.

Wayne Rooney could easily overtake Sir Bobby Charlton’s record of 249 goals if he keeps playing for United for the next 4-5 years.

Almost half of these players have played under Sir Alex Ferguson.
