Plenty of ties to talk about, but at the least I’d expect Spurs and Villa to get through - Everton have a very tough game against Standard Liege (they took Liverpool to extra time in the 2nd leg and with a bit more composure and experience could have been playing in the Champions League instead of the 5-time champions). Napoli are paired against Benfica and Udinese against Borussia Dortmund, two close ties.

Should be interesting this year, what with Milan and Ajax also in the mix for the title.

What is easy about Tottenham being drawn to play a club who have won half a dozen Polish championships in just the last few seasons? Tottenham might beat them but by now Wisla Krakow should have earned themselves some respect from foreign opponents.

  2. hey man city’s opponents beat AEK athens to get here so they’re no pushovers.considering how they played against the danish reindeer hunters they will be lucky to get through.
