Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has been branded as an “arrogant b******” by Swansea director at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Wallpaper tycoon John van Zweden couldn’t resist the temptation to take a dig at fellow countryman Louis van Gaal, by posting a picture of himself indicating the score with his fingers, as noted by The Mirror

Van Zweden, who bought a 25 per cent stake in Swansea for £50,000 in 2002, added the message: “Dear Louis. Sleep well mate 6 points and The double. @SwansOfficial @ManUtd 2-1 again!!! #easy

Swansea completed their first ever double over Manchester United, after the Wales side registered a famous 2-1 win on Saturday.

The defeat at the Liberty Stadium puts United’s hopes of securing Champions League football in balance, with fellow challengers Spurs and Liverpool closing the gap.

Ahead of the match, Van Gaal claimed that his side is best in the Premier League, to Van Zweden responded: “Yes, and I find him an arrogant b******.”

Van Gaal, meanwhile, was not interested in taking the feud further, and when asked whether he shook hands with Zweden after the match, the Dutchman replied: “No, he only talks rubbish.”
