All of this has happened before. Everton beat out Liverpool for 4th place in the 2004/05 season. This has been an ongoing battle & will keep continuing until Rafa (or his successor) takes the League title challenge seriously. I'm actually quite conflicted about this. As an Arsenal fan, last season was especially painful when we just managed to beat out our own rivals for the 4th spot, so i can sympathize with LFC supporters. On the other hand Everton are a great team & David Moyes is a fantastic manager. The loss of Cahill is a huge one & i hope the team can come back into it & seriously upset LFC for 4th place.
