It’s Liverpool’s for the taking and I can’t see them slipping up at home. Hopefully Real will through everything at them though and atleast make a game of it.

I suspect it will be yet another tactical game, with a lot of play in the midfield. Real won’t come out all guns blazing, not unless the scoreline is still goalless in the second half.

If Liverpool scorefirst , Real will have to attack and leave themselves open to a quick counter.

If Real score first, it’s anyone’s game.

I don’t know if Real can pull it off at Anfield, but the major weakness of Madrid vs. Atletico was the defense. As good as Diarra has been lately, right back is not his natural position, and neither is center back for Sergio Ramos. Pepe’s absence really hurt Madrid, and so did having to bring on Salgado, who I haven’t ever been very impressed by. Real’s chances in Liverpool will increase with a return to more familiar tactics.

In the last game against Liverpool, Ramos made the mistake by trying to out think Rafa Benitez – that’s like trying to beat Kasparov at chess. Simply impossible. Since arriving from Tottenham, Ramos has steadied Real’s defense which was their weak link. At Anfield, Ramos must play very attacking football and not try to match Rafa’s tactics if he hopes to secure a result. Liverpool is a very rigid team and will soak the pressure whilst waiting for Madrid to make a mistake and thus exploit it

I might be in the minority but i firmly believe Madrid will win at Anfield.
