Liverpool met with striker’s agent, no agreement yet

According to the trusted and reliable Gianluca Di Marzio website, Liverpool have today held talks with former Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o’s representatives.

The recent developments come as a major surprise but it is believed that manager Brendan Rodgers views the Cameroonian as a short term solution after Loic Remy’s failed medical.

However no agreement has been reached with Eto’o and there is considerable distance between both the parties involved. Di Marzio staff Fabrizio Romano however tweeted that Liverpool will hold a meeting with Eto’o agent again in the coming days.

However, to add to the spice Everton are also interested in the former Inter Milan and Barcelona striker and the Toffees are currently monitoring the situation around the 33 year old.

What do you think will Eto’o come to Merseyside? If so for which club? Th Red or the Blue half? Be rest assured, we will keep you updated if there are any developments.
