French midfielder Moussa Sissoko is in demand in the transfer market following his exploits in Euro 2016. He is angling a move away from Newcastle United this summer and has been linked with several European heavyweight clubs including the likes of PSG and Real Madrid.

According to reports from French newspaper Le 10 Sport, French champions PSG are keen to sign the 26-year-old midfielder, who would cost around €40m. PSG, however, first need to sell Blaise Matuidi to accommodate him in the squad.

Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez has insisted that he would like to have Sissoko in his squad but at the same time will allow him to leave if the Magpies receive a good offer for him. So far, no clubs have made a formal bid to Newcastle over his signature.

Le 10 claims that Crystal Palace are locked in a serious negotiation with Newcastle over his transfer, while Liverpool have made contact with the Tyneside club as well. The question is: will Sissoko accept a move to Palace?

The answer is probably ‘no’. Last week, Sissoko gave an interview to L’Equipe, where he revealed his desire to play for a big European club and dreams of joining either Manchester United or Real Madrid.

The midfielder wants his agent to sort out a deal for him before the start of the new season. Liverpool may need to sign a midfielder if Lucas Leiva departs this summer and may look to opt for Sissoko, although the Frenchman is far from being a like for like replacement for the Brazilian.
