Wasn’t aware of these ones. I wholeheartedly agree that action must be taken to reverse this disgusting trend of abusive chanting no matter who the fans are.

As to the stewards not reacting to the physical aspects, if this is the case, and it should be fairly easy to prove so with footage, then they must also be gone.

Both sets of fans were guilty of obscene chanting and I have to agree that it is time to tone it down a bit.

As for spitting and punching a player then that is an entirely different and a far more serious matter. The fans involved should be hit with a life ban and the FA should impose further sanctions on Liverpool FC for failing to act and deal with this problem at the time – Stewards were seen to do absolutely nothing about it other than just watch it happen.

Sure heckling and banter, but the comments hurled at Stevie G were disgusting. Likewise, no matter what you feelings, spitting and hitting Neville were just the actions of animals.

I hope these people do get banned for life, there is no room for this kind of behavior in the modern game.
