I watched the game on Saturday, and Real were not poor. Lucky, certainly, but in actual fact I found they passed the ball rather well and looked genuinely dangerous, all until Mr Ramos decided to go beserk, as per usual. Ramos needs to be severely censured - he has 3 red card and 15! yellows this season, incredible.

In other news, spare a thought for the poor Barcelonians who are probably going to have to house yet another set of British supporters. I'm dreading it already :-)

I just want to say one thing. Barca should now give up chase and simply tell Real Madrid to take the title. I mean the number of slips that Real have had and the number of chances Barca have blown, they are simply pathetic. Real were given very few opportunities last season and they took each one of them on their way to the title. The way Barca is playing, I'm sure this league will be done before the Classico.

Three decisions did go Real Madrid's way in the first half, although, as you say, Cannavaro's handball did not merit a penalty. However, it could be argued that Sergio Ramos' dismissal was also unmerited as there was no apparent contact in his second yellow card offence (and Real Madrid are now appealing the booking). A depleted Real side then saw Valero equalise for Mallorca, so you could say that the final result was more or less fair, even though the referee was instrumental in the way it was achieved.

Is there anybody out there who watches much of Zaragoza on a regular basis? What has gone wrong? A lack of balance?lack of spirit? Too many mangers in too short a space of time? Too cavalier? Any ideas?
