LA Galaxy 2007 Away Kit
David Beckham’s LA Galaxy have released their 2007 Away kit.
It’s an all black shirt sporting the new European looking LA Galaxy badge and the Herbalife logo. It has the Adidas yellow splashes near the collar and around the side mesh panels.
LA Galaxy have gone with white, black and yellow instead of their better-looking yellow and green – it looks nice (and will look good when Becks and Co. take to the field) but overall it’s not a good choice – Adidas should have gone for a yellow and green away shirt as the Galaxy usually wears.
I think the LA Galaxy are trying to look more European and more Football like, not Soccer like.

(1) That shirt looks dark blue, not black, though I admit my eyes are getting a bit old.
(2) Euro-style badge? I think it looks a bit Starfleet Academy myself, but I agree that the overall shirt design with the logo is very much European.

July 27th, 2007 @ 21:01The look is kinda ruined by the bland ‘Herbalife’ in the middle. I’m also not too keen on the lighter blue bit under the chin… looks a bit cheap.
Overall though, well, it’s just a dark blue adidas shirt isn’t it? nothing particularly special about it… at least the yellow and green was unique and quirky.
