Klose and Bale linked (again) to Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool
The Bale rumours have started again (god help us), as have the Klose rumours.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, United - all after Bale
When will people learn that:
- Arsenal already have a lot invested in Clichy
- Liverpool are too far behind and havent shown anywhere near the type of interest United and Tottenham have shown
- Manchester United have Giggs and Champions League football, not to mention more money, to offer Southampton for Bale (than Tottenham, who have first-team football to offer, which is great in itself)
Predictions? Not enough information to call this one. Spurs have first-team football to offer, but United can buy him, send him out on loan for a year and then bring him in to replace Heinze / Silvestre.
Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, Juventus - in for Klose
Now that the season has ‘moved on’ a bit since the initial Klose rumours, it’s a good time to revisit the story and find out what’s going on.
Arsenal won’t buy Klose - with van Persie, Adebayour and Henry they have enough to last them, provided all three are fit next season. They have Walcott and Bendtner as well, so they’re set.
Liverpool - Rafa has David Villa in his sights, but Klose would definitely be a viable option. No real news around this yet, and a lot will depend on the funds Rafa has next season.
Manchester United - Rossi, Rooney, Saha, Klose. Sound good?
Barcelona - Makes sense if Eto’o leaves, which I don’t think he will.
Real Madrid - if they can sort out their troubles in defence, then maybe. However, Ruud, Robinho, Raul, Cassano and Higuain are already there, so you’d have to look for some away movement first.
Milan - Definitely need to replace Shevchenko.
Juventus - don’t have Champions League football to offer, so I doubt it.
- Newcastle want Bale but so do Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United
- Gareth Bale - Tottenham or Manchester United (or someone else), and why?
- Gareth Bale - Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea or Real Madrid?
- Nani, Bale, Tottenham and Manchester United

Bale WILL be joining Liverpool. It is known he held out until the summer in the hope Liverpool would have funds to join the bidding war.
No way Klose is coming in… Rossi Rooney Saha ole dong smith??? Rossi has definitely matured and its time he came back from all the loan deals to fight for a spot in MANU… Smith will be here too, rooney and saha are favourites while Dong and Ole will play a role too..
I cannot see Liverpool spending anything near the amount that is circulated in the press for a 17-year-old left-back.
Klose in for Crouch does not sound too bad, especially considering that Klose might be up for grabs for as little as 8m (Euros that is), but then I found it quite strange no club had shown any interest in him when moving from Kaiserslautern to Bremen for 5m Euros only (that is less than a forth of what Cissé cost).
Cannot see any of these two comming to Anfield though. Bale might end up at Manu or Spurs who both seem to be glad to spend inflated prices on British players (which Rafa does not) and Klose might just be too scared to move to a foreign country.
I just can’t see Bale coming to Spurs - I think that had he been interested in joining us, he would’ve come during the winter transfer window. Sad but true
Liverpool will end up as Spanish as Arsenal are French.
