Chelsea and Manchester United target Paul Pogba claims he was angry with his teammate Alvaro Morata for refusing to pass the ball during Juventus’ goalless draw against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League fixture on Wednesday evening.

Last season’s finalist were forced to settle for a 0-0 scoreline against the German club in front of their home fans. The French international had a chance to score, provided the former Real Madrid striker had passed the ball to the star midfielder.

Pogba has not scored from open play this season and he believes Morata denied him a chance to do so against Monchengladbach.

“I was angry with Morata and I hope that in the next match he will pass me the ball in the crucial moment,” Pogba said, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Ex-United midfielder has been linked with a top clubs across Europe. The Express reports Chelsea, United, their league rivals Manchester City, along with treble winners Barcelona are all interested in signing Pogba. According to the Daily Mail, Juventus value their star player more than £73m.

Pogba took over the No 10 jersey before the start of the season. He has seen a dip in form this term and has been given additional responsibility in the midfield, following the departure of Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo in the summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old has refused to blamed the change of jersey number for his poor form this term.

“I’m not weighed down by the shirt. It’s just a number, if it had been anything else nobody would say anything,” Juventus midfielder explained.

“I always want to do well and follow what the coach asks me to do. I’m not interested in anything else, as I’m 100 per cent focused [on improving]. I’m sure that I will score very soon and that I will do better for me and for the club.”
