Juventus 2007 Summer Transfers Update

Juventus have completed the transfers of Argentinean Gabriel Milito of Real Zaragoza and Italian World Cup Champion Vincenzo Iaquinta of Udinese.

The transfers are not yet official, but it has been confirmed that Udinese and Juve, have agreed a fee, with Iaquinta having passed the medicals and signing the contract. The details, however, have not yet been released.

As for Milito, he has passed the medicals in Turin and has already made it clear to Zaragoza and to the Juve management that he wants to join Juve. However, Juventus and Zaragoza have not yet agreed a suitable fee, but the decision will surely be made shortly.

Juventus have also completed the signings of Hasan Salihamidzic (Bayern Munchen) and Zdenek Grygera (Ajax) on free transfers, re-bought Domenico Criscito (Genoa) for an undisclosed fee, and got Alessio Tacchinardi (Villarreal) and Fabrizio Miccoli (Benfica) back from their loans.

Other potential targets for the Bianconeri include Brazilian Portuguese Tiago (Lyon) and Klaas Jan Huntelaar (Ajax).

If all proceeds as planned, Juve will have a pretty formidable squad for next season.

after juve said that they would not sell Trezeguet to liverpool, the two clubs stopped negotiations for Sissoko completely, although I think he’s a target for Inter or AC…

buffon has signed a contract, nedved and del piero said they will not leave juve. trezeguet is on holiday and all negotiations with him have been suspended. as for camoranesi, he will probably leave after yet another transfer row.

i dont see why they would have both trez and huntelaar. Arent they supposed to be very similar players. Or maybe The Hunter is seen as trez’s long term replacement

sorry guys I messed up, gabi milito did not move to juve, he moved to real madrid. At the time that i wrote this post his transfer to juve wad almost certain but the madridistas stole him from our clutches… Anyways, we got Jorge Andrade which is much better than that Argentinean shithole that calls himself a football player (Gabi Milito)… He’s such a damn traitor….

    Do i sound biased? Cause I don’t think I do….
