I think the appointment of Klinsmann is recognition from Bayern that there is a lot of work to do at the club if they're ever going to get back up to Europe's top table.
I'm certain he'll change the way the players train (even though he won't lead training himself), bring in fitness coaches, a psychologist, nutritionist, and who knows what else.
He'll insist on an attacking style, at least in the Bundesliga and in the group phase of the Champions League, and he'll give young players their chance.
Will it work out? Only if Bayern are prepared to give him absolute control, and that will inevitably lead to clashes with Uli Hoeness, the long-serving team manager.
As Ahmed says, Klinsmann's key skill is that he can bring the best out of the people around him. He is genuinely inspiring and if he hasn't lost that gift in the time since the World Cup he stands a good chance.

My love for football started after watching the victorious German national team lift the World Cup In Italia 90 when I was just seven years of age. The then German captain Lothar Matthaus captivated my imagination more than Juergen Klinsmann. While I still admire the 'man machine' more than anyone else, Klinsmann is someone that has shown the football world the productivity of retired footballers to the world of this beautiful game. Versatile is too small a word to describe Klinsmann but he is a man who seems to strike chord with every aspect of the game, whether it is the business end or the managerial.
This is not the ideal time to predict what would he achieve at Bayern but one can take it for granted, the German powerhouse would be a team that would resemble the very positive and colourful personality of their future coach.
Thanks to Mr.Bilal for bringing to us such a fantastic article. Truly speaking it highlights the life achievements of a young manager who boasts of such genuine allround qualities that could not be rivalled at this very moment.
Sometimes Juergen Klinsmann, to me, is more of a business or sports management guru rather than a football icon(which ofcourse he is).

I always really respected Klinsmann as a player. i was too young to remember the "diving" allegations, so the first real time i got to see him was when he joined Spurs. I remember he used to drive a VW Beetle to training. the "Klinsmann dive" celebration was a masterstroke, weakened any media criticism and showed his sense of humour.

reading interviews with him, he seems to be a genuine football man who has a vision of how football should be played, which can only be respected. i heard Tim Vickery, a pundit i really rate, talking about a speech Klinsmann did in Brazil recently and saying how brilliant he was.

plus he seems to have a lot of fans in football management despite his limited CV
