Jose Mourinho has signed an agreement to take over from Louis Van Gaal at the end of the season.

According to reports from Spain, the Portuguese manager is all set to return to management with Manchester United soon.

Although Van Gaal is expected to see out this season, a poor result against Chelsea could be the end of his reign at Old Trafford.

El Confidencial have reported that Mourinho has already signed an agreement to be the next Manchester United manager and will replace Van Gaal this summer.

Ryan Giggs is expected to take charge if Van Gaal fails to survive till the end of this season.

Mourinho won the Premier League title with Chelsea last season and was sacked towards the end of 2015 after a catastrophic start to this season.

Earlier this week, Manchester City announced that Pep Guardiola is set to take over from Pellegrini at the end of the season and it seems Manchester United are set to follow in their footsteps as well.

The Premier League giants have moved swiftly to secure the services of an elite manager, who they believe, can take them back to their former glories.
