Real need defenders, a top quality left back like Clichy, a 2 world class central defenders are required, cannavaro is in decline and pepe is a liability, metzelder is good enough as a back up. You don't build a house at start with the roof, they need to stabilise a shaky back line infront of the marvelous Cassillas!!!
