What a great surprise! I haven’t read it yet but will do soon. Great coup this one, he was one of the sweeper’s I modelled myself on for the Unsworth under 13s back in the day, until Matthias Sammer came along and sweepers started to die a death.
What an absolute legend Baresi is. A fabulous player who will no doubt go on to be a fine manager himself.
He seems to be impressed with Capello and he confirms a lot of what has been written about him before.
Great coup to get him on Soccerlens.
Aha…As I expected…You are not at all interested in what a gr8 player he’s or his contribution to the game or whatsoever…you just want to know a player that played under England’s National team…Why not just introduce him like this rather than one of best defenders or Milan Legend or U-19 ooach….Couldn’t you ask a single question not involving Capello?..you know how it sounds to me…it’s like your national team that has achieved nothing as of yet except in 1966,after getting a gr8 coach whom you prolly din’t heard of,just want to gossip around with him…The world speaks english doesn’t mean the world doesn’t understand anything else..
Baresi is one of the very few players that we will ever watch again.
