That leaves us with Rooney and Tevez, with no Ronaldo - he's been effectively playing as a forward rather than a winger - for at least another month. Now I have no doubt that the 'pessimism' over Berbatov is a front and that it's all but done, but when it's said that we don't have enough strikers, selling two and bringing in one doesn't improve things on paper. I just hope that if he does let Campbell go it's either on loan or with a buyback clause in the event of Hull's relegation or other offers to buy him, because he's a promising player.
