Well, living in Australia, I know that Robbie Fowler’s success can be limited. Instead of ‘oh wow a great has come to aussie shores’ on his arrival, ‘why did he got to humid and hot north queensland’ was asked. He is a good player, but he cannot help North Queensland get past the brilliance of the other new side, Gold Coast. He will bring popularity and crowds, but not wins. Sorry Fowler, good player and all, but you will flop.

Fowler’s washed-up years ago, is a poor role model and will go the Dwight Yorke route. The A League is a non event really and Fowler won’t change that.
